We file all insurance electronically, so your insurance company will receive each claim within days of the treatment. You are responsible for any balance on your account after 30 days, whether insurance has paid for it or not. If you have not paid your balance within 60 days, a re-billing fee of 1.5% will be added to your account each month until the outstanding balance is paid. We will be glad to send a refund to you if your insurance pays us.

How Are Appointments Scheduled

Our office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are more awake, and we can work more slowly with them for their comfort. School children with a lot of homework should be seen in the morning for the same reason. Dental appointments are an excused absence, and missing school can be minimal when regular dental care is scheduled.

Since appointed times are reserved for each patient, we ask that you please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you must cancel. Another patient could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We realize that unexpected things happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard.

Montgomery Dentist Arrested For Medicaid Fraud Theft

MONTGOMERY, Alabama — Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange announced that

, a Montgomery dentist, has been indicted on charges of Medicaid fraud and first-degree theft of property.

White, 53, is a Pike Road resident in Montgomery County and operates a pediatric dental practice in Montgomery. The March 2011 term of the Montgomery County grand jury returned indictments against White, charging her with 73 counts of Medicaid fraud, a class C felony, and one count of first-degree theft of property, a class B felony.

White surrendered Tuesday at the Montgomery County Detention Center and was released on a $60,000 bond, according to the attorney general’s office.

The case was investigated by agents assigned to the attorney general’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, after being referred by the Alabama Medicaid Agency’s Program Integrity Division. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant Attorney General Bruce M. Lieberman, who serves as the director of the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in the attorney general’s office.
