I Cant Even Get Past The Log In Cause A Glitch Im Frustrated

I have things to do, like set up my healthcare plan properly so I can go get an ultrasound for my child, which is what you guys were supposed to be offering here. What did I get? A glitch, I cant even freaking log in to my account because after I answer my DOB and SSC I am proceeded to the next part of logging in and it says answer these three questions, you only have one try and yet…THERES NO QUESTIONS just a grey screen with that writing typed on the top, I closed out and re entered my information again. STILL NOTHING NEW, just the grey screen holding me back from getting my healthcare done. And worse I just got off the phone from the interview she should be calling me soon to see if Ive uploaded my documents and when I have to tell her there is a glitch and I cant log in, Im sure we wont be able to continue much of the process without it, then I will have to dip into my wallet, and spend money that a young mother looking for help with her healthcare shouldnt be spending right now, just to get a ride all the way 30 minutes out to use the father of my childs computer. I need this to be fixed because this affects everything in my agenda and this is supposed to help me not dig me further into my problems.

    How Does Chip Work

CHIP provides health care to children who qualify. If your child qualifies, you will need to select a health plan and the doctor you want for your childs health-care needs. Pick Texas Childrens Health Plan to select from our doctors.

Your childs doctor can help you find a specialist if your child needs one. The most a family will pay is $50 per year for all the children who qualify, but most families pay $35 per year or less. You will also need to pay additional co-payments for some services.

Which Medicaid Plan Is Best In Texas

There is no best Medicaid program. There is only the program that is best for you. Again, this is something best determined by a consultation with someone from Health and Human Services. Medicaid and CHIP cover half of all children in Texas. If yours is a low-income family, or you are an individual that meets other Medicaid qualifications, there is a very good chance that one of the programs is right for you.

If the kids dont qualify for Medicaid or CHIP, all three of them may qualify for subsidized family coverage on the state marketplace, says Karen Pollitz, a senior fellow at the Kaiser Family Foundation . Under the health law, your sons loss of on-the-job health insurance creates a special enrollment period for him to sign up for coverage there. If his estimated income for this year will be less than 400 percent of the federal poverty level he may qualify for subsidies.

If its just the kids coverage youre concerned about, you can investigate child-only policies on the state marketplace. Log onto healthcare.gov to get connected to your state marketplace and find details about child-only plans as well as family coverage and Medicaid/CHIP.

Finally, if you have private retiree coverage, its possiblebut unlikelythat you could insure your grandchildren as dependents on your own plan, says Pollitz.
