Enterprise Customer Service Center

Amerigroup Number  Customer Service Numbers

The Enterprise Customer Service Center is available to Virginians Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m. to provide more streamlined and expanded services. Applications for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program , Temporary Assistance for Needy Families , and Medical Assistance can now be accepted over the phone. Applications for the Energy Assistance Program are also handled by the call center. All electronic applications will be routed appropriately for interviewing and processing upon completion by the application specialists.

In addition to facilitating telephonic applications, specialists will be able to respond to basis citizen inquiries related to the services they wish to apply for or are currently receiving, including:

  • Status of Application or Current Case
  • Amount of Benefits Authorized
  • Verification of Receipt of Benefits

What To Do In An Emergency

If you receive emergency services, call your doctor to schedule a follow up visit as soon as possible. Please call us and let us know of the emergency care you received.

An emergency is a condition in which you think you have a serious medical condition, or not getting medical care right away will be a threat to your life, limb or sight.

You should call 911 if you are having a life-threatening behavioral health emergency. You can also go to a crisis center or the nearest emergency room.

You need to call Optum Behavioral Health at as soon as possible.

Unitedhealthcare Dual Complete Plans

Plans are insured through UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company or one of its affiliated companies, a Medicare Advantage organization with a Medicare contract and a contract with the State Medicaid Program. Enrollment in the plan depends on the plans contract renewal with Medicare. This plan is available to anyone who has both Medical Assistance from the State and Medicare. Benefits, premiums and/or co-payments/co-insurance may change on January 1 of each year.

MES EDI Training – Managing Service Center Authorizations

UnitedHealthcare SCO is a Coordinated Care plan with a Medicare contract and a contract with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Medicaid program. Enrollment in the plan depends on the plans contract renewal with Medicare. This plan is a voluntary program that is available to anyone 65 and older who qualifies for MassHealth Standard and Original Medicare. If you have MassHealth Standard, but you do not qualify for Original Medicare, you may still be eligible to enroll in our MassHealth Senior Care Option plan and receive all of your MassHealth benefits through our SCO program.

Medicaid Expansion Beginning January 1 2019

The rules have changed. More people qualify. Beginning January 1, 2019, more adults living in Virginia will have access to quality, low-cost health insurance. Eligibility is based on income. For example, an adult without children whose annual income is at or below $16,754, or a family of three with annual income at or below $28,677, or a person living with a disability with an annual income at or below $16,754, qualifies for coverage. How You Qualify

You are eligible for CCC Plus when you have full Medicaid benefits, and meet one of the following categories:

  • You are age 65 and older,
  • You are an adult or child with a disability,
  • You reside in a nursing facility ,
  • You receive services through the CCC Plus home and community based services waiver Waivers),
  • You receive services through any of the three waivers serving people with developmental disabilities , also known as the DD Waivers.
